Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC partners with Vision 21 CDC Food Panty to provide food for distribution to the community weekly. They also provide needed resources for pantry operations (refrigeration, scales, and thermometers, training)

Walmart (Feed America Program)

Through the Food bank of Central and Eastern NC and the Feed America Program, Walmart provides assorted foods and non-food items to Vision 21 Food Panty three days a week.  Vision21 is a recipient of the Walmart Community Grant Program

Partners for Youth Opportunities partners with Vision 21 Summer Enrichment Camp and Learning Center Initiatives by providing youth interns that volunteer as Junior Summer Camp Counselors and tutors in the learning centers after school program.

YODurham for Youth

The Office on Youth has created a one-way text line for young people in Durham. The YODurham Text Line is a resource-sharing tool for young people in Durham under 25 years old. Young people can sign up for the text service and receive weekly updates about the resources and opportunities available to them. Texts will be in English and Spanish, and will include a phone number in case help is needed to navigate any of the resources shared. Young people can sign up on our website at https://DurhamNC.gov/YODurhamText. Those without web access can text “yodurham” to 919-213-0691.
